Barack Obama Victory and is Declared the Winner of the Us Presidential Elections

The US Presidential election campaign has been rough. Insults and rumours has been the order of the day.

Now the winner has been declared and it is time for serious business. To deliver the promises he gave to the voters during the campaign.

The Presidential elections this time around was the most expensive one in the US history. Both candidates had a good campaign machinery with Obama’s more effective due to the huge sums of dollars raised through private donations.

The campaign had racial overtones and if the winner does not handle the situation well before inauguration day, the Americans will find themselves in trouble with large riots in large cities.

Those who were entusiastic to have Obama as the winner will now have to worry about his safety and remain hopeful that he does not get assassinated by those motivated by racial hatred. It is going to be a tuff ride for him to govern a nation so divided by racial affiliations.

On the Kenya situation, those who are rejoicing now for having Obama as the US President are surely going to get disappointed in the long run. They rejoice expecting to get help from the US, not knowing that Obama’s duty is to the American people, not the Kenyan people.
